- Redesign | Checkout Workflow -
While studying data and user behavior flows, I found Dealbar has a high add-to-cart rate but a relatively low checkout rate. To reduce the abandoned checkout rate and increase sales, I continued to find out the frictions.
Study Approaches
There are two sales funnels on Dealbar, returning customers and new customers. For returning customers, because they mainly come from email campaigns and will directly visit the product page, my study was more focus on if the workflow of sign in to check out is smooth enough, and if there are any bugs. For new customers, my focus was to see if the workflow of search products, add to cart, and sign up to checkout are easy to adopt.
Solutions
For returning customers, we fixed a few bugs that may block users. For new customers, we improved the mobile view to avoid popup ads block the signup flow, we simplified the sign-in and signup page and improved the interaction of the navigation menu on mobile view.
Results
After redesign, the abandon cart reduced by 20%, and purchasing rate of returning customer increased by 50%.

- New Design | Conceptual Dealbar B2B Platform -
Dealbar.com planned to expand its business into the B2B medical supply marketplace. We worked with a business partner, a supplier who directly sell to home care companies and defined the initial business scope. Then I designed the conceptual shopping platform and built the prototype.
